I couldn’t have said it better.

One of the best things I’ve ever seen

I’m getting all my posts crossed now.
This is clever. not all men are deserting. There are some situations where it’s not fair on the guy. Some. Not all.
I’m so glad that there are men who can see it from the women’s point of view though.

"There are some situations where it’s not fair on the guy. Some. Not all."
what do you mean by it when you say ‘it’s not fair on a guy’ because if you are meaning ‘its not fair on a guy to have to be around and responsible for a child he does not necessarily want’ then that is, like, literally the point of the post is it not? that it would be completely unfair and irrational and stupid and just wow not cool at all to make all guys be responsible in some way for all of the babies of all of the girls they have accidentally or otherwise got pregnant
because that is literally what anti-abortionists are expecting of women but they don’t expect it of men?

"So I moved on. I focused on helping other people. I was good. Until you dragged me back into to this freak show and put everyone here at risk. You wanna know my secret, Agent Romanoff? You wanna know how I stay calm?"

And in that moment, I swear the Hulk was less of a giant rage monster, and more of a giant green protector keeping Bruce safe.

Adrianne Haslet-Davis dances again for the first time since the Boston terrorist attack last year.

When the bombs went off at the Boston Marathon finish line, Adrianne Haslet-Davis lost the lower half of her left leg in the explosion. She’s a ballroom dance teacher, and she assumed she would never dance again. With most prosthetics, she wouldn’t.

But Hugh Herr, of the MIT Media Lab, wanted to find a way to help her. He created a bionic limb specifically for dancers, studying the way they move and adapting the limb to fit their motion. (He explains how he did it here.)

At TED2014, Adrianne danced for the first time since the attack, wearing the bionic limb that Hugh created for her.

Hugh says, “It was 3.5 seconds between the bomb blasts in the Boston terrorist attack. In 3.5 seconds, the criminals and cowards took Adrianne off the dance floor. In 200 days, we put her back. We will not be intimidated, brought down, diminished, conquered or stopped by acts of violence.”

Amen to that, Hugh.

Who is Tony Stark when you take away the suit?

The guy who could and did build the suit

Nobody gave him Iron Man. It wasn’t an accident. Tony built himself into a superhero with his hands and his tools and his brain, and it takes a very very specific kind of person not just to have that knowledge but to make that CHOICE to say, “yes the most obvious next step in my life is to build an automated suit of armor and fight evil”

This is why I LOVE HIM. He’s not a God, he didn’t gain his powers from an injection, he didn’t have a freak accident, he wasn’t born with a mutation. He made himself.
